The Brady Group

The Brady Group is a major force in development, design and construction in this country and abroad including Indonesia, Dubai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

A focused, ambitious and motivated person who thrives on challenges and achievement, Tony Brady is the driving force behind the development of the Brady Group. From a family building background, Tony initially established A & J Brady Pty Ltd as a building subcontractor in the mid seventies. The company developed and grew to become one of the major contractors in the Victorian construction industry through the eighties and beyond.

During the mid eighties, A & J Brady initiated private development works, initially constructing show room, warehouse and factory buildings and later diversifying into residential development. The challenge and satisfaction obtained through this development work inspired Tony to establish Brady Constructions Pty Ltd to undertake his own development works as well as seeking to build an organisation to compete in the Melbourne tender market.

To achieve this ambition, Tony recruited a team of building professionals with similar drive, ambition and focus to achieve these aims. This expansion was undertaken during the depths of the recession in the early nineties on the premise that the prevailing economic conditions would mould a strong, viable and efficient organisation capable of operating successfully with low overheads whilst serving the needs of clients in a professional and timely manner.

The drive, ambition and motivation which has seen Tony meet the challenges and changes to rise to a major subcontractor, builder and developer over the past twenty five years is reflective of his "can do" approach to business dealings.
