Since its inception, the Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce has provided valuable opportunities for members to access a variety of high profile speakers across various topics and industries, as well as links to government officials from both Ireland and Australia.

The Chamber has developed its program to benefit members through relevant and informative speakers, while also acting as a vehicle for excellent networking opportunities through business luncheons, breakfasts, networking evenings etc.

Annually, the Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce hosts one of the largest St Patrick's Day Corporate Breakfasts in Australia with over 700 people in attendance this year.  It brings together a wide variety of business people and their associates to share in a unique cultural experience.  Guest speakers have included Australian Prime Ministers and Leaders of the Federal Opposition, Victorian State Premiers and State Opposition Leaders and many Irish Government Ministers.

The Chamber has hosted functions for several Irish dignitaries including Presidents Robinson and McAleese, Prime Ministers Reynolds and Ahern and Deputy Prime Minister Mary Harney.  Our keynote speakers have included Prime Minister Paul Keating, John Dawkins, John Fahey, Peter Costello, Kim Beazley, Prime Minister John Howard and more recently, Saul Eslake, Chief Economist from the ANZ, Daniel Grollo of Grocon and Alan Joyce, CEO of Jetstar Airlines.
